Full Description: The Intermediate Tradecraft and Analysis Workshop (ITAW) teaches intermediate analysis that supports strategic and operational assessments. Students will learn structured analytic techniques for organizing intelligence information, framing an issue, and developing and evaluating hypotheses. Students will also be introduced to decision support techniques and strategic scenario development. This workshop is designed for experienced analysts who are already familiar with basic threat analysis techniques.

Prerequisites: FY24 DHS ITA Student Acknowledgement Form

I have downloaded and read the DHS FY24 ITA’s Student Handbook which outlines the standards of conduct, policies, and expectations of the ITA and my responsibilities as a student while attending training.

I understand this handbook is not intended to cover every situation which may arise during my training, but is a general guide to the goals, policies, practices, and expectations of the ITA.
